Spring Class: "The Natural Realm" : (5 weeks)
Thursdays 6 -8 pm EST/ 3-5pm PST, April 22- May 20
Capture the beauty of a tree, desert sky, or tropical beach… with color and light, delve deep into drawing and painting, exploring ways to depict the natural world!
-Learn compositional techniques
-Expand your observational drawing skills
-Learn color mixing techniques
-Draw/Paint imagery of your choosing
-Celebrate the beauty of nature
-Explore multiple drawing styles
-Learn layering techniques
-Complete a painting (or 2) from start to finish
-Be a part of a supportive creative community
Materials Needed
-Acrylic AND/OR watercolor paints:
(Acrylic colors: Primary Cyan, Cadmium Yellow, Primary Magenta,Black, White)
-Palette /white plate or palette paper, water jar, rag
- 2-4 small- medium canvases
-Small, medium large brushes
-Drawing paper, pencil, eraser
-Inspirational Imagery ie: photos, art, etc.
